This is an icebreaker and a presentation on how machines were developed to “think” – by a few mavericks, across a few key milestones. The focus is on building your understanding of what the actual substance of AI turned out to be, so that you are better equipped to navigate the onset of more capable AI in the near future. So this session is presented in person and is open to any questions you might have about AI. I will do my best to answer those questions, and to help you with any specific interests, concerns or ambitions that you might also have.
